Meet Your Teacher
Class Bulletin Board
Assignments

So concludes the last week of the 2011 year and my career at Clarksville.  This will be my last website entry as I will not be back next year for regular classes.  I want to thank all the parents and students who made my teaching here successful.  No teacher can teach until someone wants to learn.  Parents and homelife are the key to student success.  Most of the students and parents at Clarksville are the best!  Students, always do your best no matter what.  You have no idea where you might use the information or how it may get you a job someday.  Good luck and work hard and most of the time you make you own good luck by working hard.  Good-bye and God Bless.

In the News: The 7th & 8th  science classes went to Niagara Cave on September, 10th, 2010. This is an all day trip that helps students understand uniformitarianism... what happened in the past is still happening today and what is happening today happened in the past and will continue to happen in the future.    On November 3rd 2010, the 7th and 8th grade went to the Science Center in Des Moines.  This was our second time to go there.  Because the Science Station at Cedar Rapids was flooded and had fiancial troubles, we will continue to go to Des Moines.    On or about May 4th the 8th grade will take its annual trip to the Rockford Prairie and Fossil Park.  This is an all day trip that includes going through the museum, water study, fossil find and kiln study.  We also go to Nora Springs and see the large rock paved around in the middle of one street.  Last but not least we measure the largest glacieral erratic(granite rock)in Floyd county and estimate its weight.   We hope to make this trip again with 8th graders in May 2011.
